January 1: Donate Life Rose Parade Float

Each New Year's Day, the world focuses its attention on Pasadena, California, home of the Rose Parade, Rose Bowl Game and the Donate Life Rose Parade Float. Supported by dozens of donation and transplantation organizations nationwide, the Donate Life Rose Parade Float promotes a positive image for organ and tissue donation and transplantation on a world-class stage. Each year, the float involves hundreds of volunteer decorators, including transplant recipients, donor family members, float partners, employees and their families.

November - December: Give Thanks. Give Life

November and December are traditionally celebrated nationwide as a time of hope and giving.  The gifts passed to others by organ, eye, and tissue donation are honored and celebrated during this time.  These selfless acts of love and generosity provide hope to the 100,000 men, women and children waiting for a life-saving organ transplant and thousands more waiting for a life-enhancing tissue or cornea transplant. Join us in spreading the message that by giving of ourselves through organ, eye, and tissue donation, we give the gift of life.
